The geography and geographical location of Paikgachha upazila has played a role in shaping the language and culture of the people of this upazila. Sundaban is only 35 km away from this upazila in the southeastern part of Bangladesh. Mixed language can be said to be running in Paikgachha upazila. However, most of the people of this upazila speak the regional language.
